Matt Valentine - Launching a New Dallas Soccer Franchise With Headquarters in Garland

Matt Valentine is an established Dallas business leader who guides Rimrock Midstream, LLC, as founder, partner, and board member. He has extensive knowledge of oil and gas gathering, processing, storage, and pipeline development. Matt Valentine’s strategic focus extends to financing and capital market allocations, and he drives growth both organically and through mergers and acquisitions.

Since 2024, Matt Valentine has embarked on a professional sports track as Chairman for Atletico Dallas, formerly known as United Soccer League (USL) Dallas. He is launching a new men’s professional soccer team in suburban Garland, which is an off-shoot of the Dallas Metropolitan Area. Mr. Valentine and his team are also working on further development plans encompassing the ground-up development of a stadium complex. The region is an established soccer market that already supports a Major League Soccer franchise. Overseeing sporting and business operations, Matt Valentine envisions creating a youth team that will act as a feeder for the franchise and generate community interest and grassroots fanbase commitment.

Mr. Valentine also has a role as senior advisory board member with Orion Infrastructure Capital and is a former managing director of Millbrook Equity Partners. Earning his economics degree in St. Louis at Washington University, he excelled on the field with its men’s varsity soccer team.
